Sweet Brucie Ltd
The site is for a wholesaler of confectionary, designwise needed to match in with a business card that was a vivid yellow and featured jellybeans. We toned down the yellow so as not to blind potential customers, and added jellybeans on top of the content which was shaped like an opentopped box, while the categories list was displayed as a receipt taped to the box. All in all, the site came out clean and responsive and works well.
New Zealand Electrical Institute
Here we were dealing with a brand that has been around since the mid 1930s, the existing website had been designed in the late 90s or early noughties(still not sure about that term). Our brief was to create a website that was easy to navigate and could be easily maintained, by using an open source CMS and creating a suitable template we were able to meet all the requirements, which resulted in a site thats is easy to use and was very cost efficient.
JAKOnappies and more
Here again we were provided with a logo and asked to design a site to complement it, we were able to do this through the use of opensource software and templates which only needed minor tweaking to attain the desired effect, which provided an extremely good site and at a very modest budget.
The Nappy Network
This is a design that was made to spec and donated to a non profit organisation that promotes the use of cloth nappies to help the environment
The Scrapbook Outlet New Zealand
The design for this was a bit different, Andrea and the team ran a competition to create a design suitable for their scrapbooking store, so our job was to take the winning design and make the site work with it.
Myles Maheno - Photographer
Myles asked us to replace his existing site which had been designed a number of years earlier and was not compatible with all modern browsers, although the original site was white background with black text, we noticed that Myles business cards where orange and black, so we decided to run with that to create a new site that packs more of punch than the original black on white site.
